Future Micro Mold publishes findings at two levels of ceremony.
Notes are short and dated. Something surfaces during real work, we write down what we saw, the conditions it happened under, and the numbers. A note is not peer reviewed and carries no DOI. It exists because the alternative — waiting until there is time to write a paper — means the observation is lost when the setup is torn down.
Papers are preprints with a permanent DOI, posted to engrXiv under CC BY 4.0. A paper publishes its underlying dataset and the exact parameters behind it, so a reader can check the numbers and re-analyze them independently. The solver that generated them is not public.
Customer material
Findings that begin on a customer job do not get published as that customer's part. Molded geometry is identifying. Anything derived from customer work is reproduced on our own test article first, and what we publish is the test article — or, where that is not possible, it is published only with the customer's written consent.
AI assistance
We use AI for analysis, figure generation, and drafting, and we say so on every entry. The named author verifies the claims and is responsible for them. An AI system cannot be an author because it cannot be accountable for being wrong.
