Information We Collect

When you submit a Request for Quote (RFQ), we collect the contact and project details you provide: company name, contact name, email address, phone number, industry, discipline, timeline, material preferences, critical feature descriptions, and any notes you include. We also collect uploaded files (CAD drawings, engineering prints) associated with your submission.

We also use cookies and similar browser storage. Some are strictly necessary to remember your cookie choice and to run the site; optional analytics and advertising cookies load only if you choose “Accept all” in our cookie banner. The “Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising” section below describes exactly what is set and when.

How We Use Your Information

RFQ submissions are used solely to evaluate your project, prepare a quotation, and communicate with you about your inquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Uploaded files are stored privately on Vercel Blob infrastructure so our engineering team can review your prints and drawings. When you ask Marve for an instant first read, your uploaded CAD is also fetched by Modal — an automated geometry-analysis service — to extract dimensions and features. Files are retained for 12 months following submission unless you request earlier deletion.

The Lab tools at /lab run entirely in your browser. If — and only if — you tick the optional "contribute this study" box and submit, the numbers you entered and the computed result are sent to us and stored anonymously to help improve our internal fill models. A contributed study also includes the process context you entered alongside it — the resin, and the melt and mold temperatures if you filled them in — because rheology data cannot be interpreted without knowing the material it came from. No name, company, or IP address is stored with a contributed study, and no part geometry or drawing is collected by these tools. If you add an email so we can send your results back, it is stored separately and never linked to the study data. Leaving the box unchecked sends nothing.

Marve Conversations

Conversations with Marve, our assistant, are recorded: the messages you send, tool activity (such as part-analysis results and uploaded file names), the page that referred you to our site, and any contact details you choose to provide. We record them so our engineers can prepare your quote, follow up on open inquiries, and improve Marve.

If you use Marve’s voice mode, your recording is sent to Modal — the same automated service that performs geometry analysis — purely to transcribe it into text. We do not store the audio: the recording is discarded once transcribed, and only the resulting text is kept, as part of the conversation record described above. Marve’s spoken replies are synthesised by the same service from the text of its answer. Voice mode only ever records while you are holding the microphone button.

If you book an engineering review, the conversation is linked to your RFQ ticket as part of the project record. Conversation processing is performed by Anthropic, our AI provider, which retains API data only for a limited period and does not train on it. Only derived data — the messages you send, extracted geometry measurements, and drawing title-block text — is sent to Anthropic; your raw CAD or drawing file is never sent to the AI provider. To have a conversation deleted, email sales@futuremicromoldllc.com with "Data Request" in the subject line.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

When you first visit, we ask you to choose “Accept all” or “Necessary only.” Your choice is stored in your browser and governs everything below. You can change it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which will bring the banner back.

Always active: Vercel Analytics, which measures aggregate site usage (page views, traffic sources). It is cookieless, does not fingerprint individual visitors, and does not collect personally identifiable information. Vercel Speed Insights measures page performance timings in the same way. Also always active: if we notice your browser prefers a language this site is published in and you dismiss the banner offering you that version, we store a single flag in your browser’s local storage so we do not offer it again — it contains no identifier, is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and is removed when you clear this site’s data.

Only after “Accept all”: the Google Ads tag, which sets advertising cookies and lets us measure which ads lead to contact. With this enabled we record when you submit an RFQ, click a phone-number link, or click an email link, and report those conversions to Google. We declare all Google consent signals as denied by default and grant them only on your explicit acceptance. Also only after “Accept all,” we store a randomly generated identifier in your browser’s local storage so that page-layout experiments we run through GrowthBook stay consistent for you between visits. That identifier is a random value — it is not derived from and cannot be traced back to your name, email, or device. Also only after “Accept all,” we load the ZoomInfo WebSights tag, which uses your IP address and cookies to identify the company or organization you are visiting from (not you personally) so we can understand which businesses are researching our services.

If you choose “Necessary only,” the Google and ZoomInfo tags are never loaded, no advertising cookies are set, no experiment identifier is stored, and custom analytics events are suppressed. If you accepted previously and then change to “Necessary only,” the experiment identifier is deleted from your browser.

Payments

If you reserve a rapid-prototype slot, the deposit is processed by Stripe. Payment details are entered directly into Stripe’s hosted payment fields and are sent to Stripe, not to us — we never see or store your full card number. To complete the payment Stripe also collects your email and billing or shipping address, and returns to us a confirmation and the last four digits of the card so we can match the deposit to your order. Stripe processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

Data Retention

RFQ form data (contact details, project specifications) is retained for 3 years from the date of submission to support program traceability and potential follow-on work. You may request deletion at any time.

Uploaded files are retained for 12 months then deleted automatically, unless the program advances to an active purchase order, in which case they become part of the project record and are retained for the duration of the program plus 7 years per our ISO 9001:2015 quality records requirements.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at sales@futuremicromoldllc.com with "Data Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively. These include the right to data portability and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS. File storage is handled by Vercel Blob, which uses industry-standard encryption at rest. Access to RFQ data is restricted to Future Micro Mold employees with a business need.

To keep the RFQ form from being abused, we protect it with Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that submissions come from a real browser rather than a bot. Turnstile receives your IP address and basic browser signals to make that determination. We also rate-limit requests using your IP address, stored briefly by Upstash. Neither is used to track you across sites or to build a profile.

Third-Party Services

We use the following sub-processors: Vercel, Inc. (hosting, analytics, performance monitoring, file storage), Neon, Inc. (database, provisioned through Vercel), Modal Labs, Inc. (automated CAD geometry analysis, and speech transcription and synthesis for Marve’s voice mode), Resend, Inc. (transactional email delivery), Anthropic, PBC (AI processing for quoting-agent conversations), Stripe, Inc. (deposit payment processing), Google LLC (advertising measurement, only after you accept all cookies), ZoomInfo Technologies LLC (company-level visitor identification, only after you accept all cookies), GrowthBook, Inc. (page-layout experiments), Cloudflare, Inc. (bot protection on our RFQ form), and Upstash, Inc. (abuse rate-limiting). All are bound by their respective data processing agreements.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our data practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
